News Bulletin – March 30, 2020

At Advanced Grain Handling Systems (AGHS), we remain open and hard at work as we are recognized as an essential service to the agricultural sector.  AGHS considers the health and safety of all our customers, employees and family members as a top priority and are following all guidance from the health authorities to help battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

Flow of goods:

We are keeping a close eye on our supply chain to make sure that your products arrive on time and as scheduled.  As for our manufacturing facilities and supply partners, the information that we have today is that they are doing absolutely everything they can to maintain the flow of products going.  At this present time, we have NO cancelations or noticeable delays to report.  We plan on sending you these bulletins on a WEEKLY basis.  So, stay tuned for the latest news.

Situation at our two locations:

Please continue to contact our operational and sales personnel as they are ready to help with your future expansion plans or service requirements.  For required parts you want to pick up, call-in orders are being processed and the parts are placed outside by the door for pick up with your name on the package.  At this time, we are not asking for signatures and we can process credit card payments by phone.

Construction season has started:

Despite these challenging times, the operations team at AGHS is well underway with the new season and we are currently on job sites for the 2020 growing season.  We are excited to report that we’ve started a new project at Third High Farms in Iroquois, ON.  With the requirement to replace their current GSI dryer, we are installing a new higher capacity and more efficient mixed-flow NECO grain dryer. The system will also include a new AGHS bucket elevator as well as extensions to existing bucket elevators.  All this to make the transfer of grain easier with the goal of having less grain handling.

The construction season is well underway with bookings filling up the schedule.  If you have a project for the 2020 season, make sure to call it in so we can reserve you a spot.
